10-13 $10 $40-$20-$10
14-18 $15 $70-$35-$15
18and over $25 $100-$50-$25
The winner of the 18 and over band category will also be given the chance to be the opening act for the Haysville Fall Festival’s Saturday night concert on October 18. The winners of the other age categories will be given a chance to perform at the Festival on the 19 of October.
Flat stage, electricity, & microphone will be
provided.
Only karaoke style tracks allowed; no lead vocals
on backing music.
There will be a $10.00 entry fee for the Cook-off.
Entrants will need to prepare 3 gallons of chili
for tasting and judging.
There will be two categories-chili and chili with
beans
A $ 3.00 fee for taste kits will be available to
public.
$30.00 prize will be awarded in the chili cook-off
for people’s choice for best overall chili.
$50.00 for 1st, $25.00 for 2nd,
and $10.00 for 3rd for judge’s choice.
Tables will be provided. You will need to provide
your own equipment for cooking and serving your chili.
SO BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIR AND YOUR TASTE BUDS AND
COME LISTEN TO THE MUSIC AND TASTE THE CHILI!
